He's eccentric. He's somewhat vain. He's a character. But that's okay, because he feels like he can be all that around his friends without worrying. He'll joke around a lot with super close friends, often offhandedly mentioning that 'so-and-so and him are getting married' and whatnot.

He speaks his mind a lot and generally holds himself in such a way that it seems as though he's looking down on others. While he cares about his physical appearance to others, he could care less about what people think about him as a person. He deeply believes that 'You just can't please everyone' so he won't even bother. It's not easy for him to hate people, though. The only way to really get a rise out of him would be to pick a physical fight, but not many people want to try and fight someone who's 6' 3".

He's courteous and friendly to them, occasionally flirting every now and then to make them feel better about themselves. However, when it comes to an actual commitment of any kind, he tends to shy away from it. Anyone looking for a relationship with Nick had better not mind him hanging out with girls a lot. If they truly knew him, they'd know he's one of the most loyal people in the world.

Oooooh man, I think Nick and Bart need to meet. Bart would be really confused by Nick, and I'm not altogether sure where they would end up. I would think they'd be really weird friends or kind of pseudo-enemies, where Bart's kind of like, "What is wrong with you?" and Nick replies, "Idk, man, what's wrong with you?" XD

Once I get Melissa (Mew) up, she would be really funny with him. That'd be great if he hit on her or something and she was just like, "ooh, bubbles! *follows distraction*" XD I think Mew and Nick would be weird friends for sure. ^^

I can definitely see them as being enemies at first because they don't quite understand the other really. With Bart being totally logical, I imagine he'd see Nick and be all like "This doesn't compute" and whatnot. Meanwhile Nick's just kinda chilling and enjoying himself. Then maybe afterwards, they'd be regular friends with minor confusions between them.

Nick and Melissa
As for these two, they would most definitely be fairly good friends. Nick's all up for other eccentrics suck as himself. While Melissa may not be as eccentric (or perhaps more eccentric) than him, he'd still enjoy her presence since it's not often that he befriends a freshman. I think it would be HILARIOUS if he were to flirt with her then find out that "Oh my gosh, she's thirteen, what did I just do?" you know? Thumbs up on this plot.

I'm thinking maybe in one of the summer school classes (maybe one Nick failed or else is taking before he has to take it next year, and Bart is getting ahead?) and Nick just starts bothering/distracting Bart and Bart goes > at him. xP I can start the thread if you want to wait until I get off work, or else you can start it. Either way is fine with me. :3

YAY! Mew's not 'eccentric,' per say, she's just really hyper and peppy and cheerful (and distracted). I think they'll be great friends! She'll teach him how to use a coloring book or play with bubbles or something. ^^ And YES, I also thumbs up on the flirting plot. That will commence as soon as she's done! ^^
