Hello all! Ooh look, it's PHS's first announcement! *cheers with pompoms!*
First of all, thank you all for making Pallet High School as successful and fun as it is already! It's been nearly three weeks, and things are going great - we have 11 good, fun characters, and several open and active threads! Thank you for making these first weeks a good experience and for enjoying yourselves. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside to see that you all are enjoying the site I created to share with all of you! :]
Secondly, please note that the rules have been updated! ProBoards has sent me a PM saying that mature content is not allowed, and should not be permissible/stated in the rules, and so I have accommodated to follow the ToS (Terms of Service) of ProBoards. If there are any questionable roleplays that I should know about (which I don't believe there are, but nevertheless), please let me or Kashi know so we can remove that content. Please keep everything tasteful, and if in doubt, PM an admin before you post! (If anyone's interested, the ToS can be found here.)
As the end of June approaches, I have begun to think of our Of The Month (OTM) awards. This time around, I believe that we will hold our first OTM at the end of July, so that way I will be in town for those and we can keep those organized. So keep an eye out for a good male/female character, a good relationship (friend, family or romantic relationship), a good thread and good quotes to nominate for our June/July OTMs! :]
Speaking of going out of town, I, Rachel, will be out of town from July 1 to July 15. I'm off to Guatemala, in case you didn't see my away message, where I'll be learning Spanish and staying with a host family (and maybe learning a bit of salsa and other shenanigans). :3 I will have a little computer access, but not much.
In the meantime, please PM my awesome co-admin Kashi with all questions/concerns or anything of that matter. She'll be in charge while I'm away. She will be approving all applications and updating lists, as well as hopefully roleplaying with her soon to be active Snorlax character, Sam Norton! Don't be afraid to contact her, she's super nice and very helpful! ^^
I expect all of you to welcome new members to PHS and help them to the best of your abilities, to have fun on PHS, create new characters, and overall just enjoy yourselves here - stay awesome, y'all! :D
