Selina Gato is one of the most happy-go-lucky girls in her class. She’s always smiling and bouncing around. Her personality seems to be infectious. She likes to make people laugh and smile (and does so without meaning too). She finds everything funny and is constantly laughing. She laughs at pranks, lame jokes, pick up lines, people falling, insults, farts, and anything else. She doesn’t do serious very well. (It also makes her giggle.) Selina has gotten quite the name for herself in her two years of high school. She is known as the “cutie” of school. This has brought her plenty of popularity. While Selina loves the attention, she doesn’t know who her friends a lot of the time are really. She talks to everyone about their problems and hangs out and has a good time with them, but at the end of the day, very few people come away knowing the true Selina Gato due to the fact she doesn’t trust just anyone with her personal life.

As a child, Selina was diagnosed with ADD and ADHD. She never could pay attention in class. She was put on medication. However, it never really killed her energy. In a last resort, her parents signed her up for a soccer little league. Selina loved it. She actually had her mind set. When her parents told her if she didn’t keep her grades up that they wouldn’t let her play anymore, Selina started to focus in school as much as she could. While she’s not the best student, she tries her hardest. She still plays soccer in school, and she adapted basketball in middle school to keep her mind occupied in another season of sports. Selina is a hard athlete, but she’s not very competitive. She likes the game more than the sport which causes her teammates to get frustrated with her when she doesn’t get her mind in the right set.

The nickname “Skittles” comes from the brand’s catchphrase “Taste the Rainbow”. Selina has very many points to her personality…or just her flakiness. Selina tends to get to know people, and she is able to change points of herself to fit in with them. She’s quite socially versatile. Selina is more of a listener than she is a chatterbox (but don’t underestimate her ability to talk your ear off). She may not hear all of what someone has to say due to her wandering attention, but she’ll get the gist of it. Then, she’ll find a way to be able to connect with that person. If someone likes to play chess, she’ll take the time to have them attempt to teach her (which is a bad example because she’ll lose attention with that). She likes to know people, but these people rarely get to know her. She rarely puts herself out there.

Selina is around five feet, two inches. She is tiny in her stature. She barely hits 120lbs when she’s bloated after a big meal. While her hair is naturally a dark brown, it has been dyed a magenta color. Her skin is quite fair. Her eyes are a dark brown. There is always a smile on her face. She has often exclaimed that it is her favorite accessory because she never forgets it! Selina has a very girlie fashion style. She’s often wearing pink and glitter. She loves a cute pair of sneakers to jazz up a girlie outfit. She rarely will wear heels due to her clumsiness. Selina has an obsession with making sure her hair and make-up are always perfect. She doesn’t like bumps in her pony tails or smudges on her eyeliner. It looks bad with her cosmetology major. (This is another of the few times Selina finds she is able to focus.) She takes her time with it, and she is always slow when it comes to getting ready. Selina presents herself as a very fun person. She always has a much eased pose, never stressed or superior looking. She is often seen skipping about the hallways or leaning against lockers. Selina is often described as being “cute” and “adorable” and she won’t be the first to argue those accusations!

Dalton and Karla Gato had a child. He was a beautiful boy. Bruce was their life. He was everything they ever wanted in a child. He was smart, calm, and playful. Everyone loved him. They seemed to have a perfect life. Bruce was six. He was playing out in the yard while Karla was fixing dinner, and Dalton was working on the car. Both had heard their son scream when he had been abducted, but neither made it out in time to see who did it. They could only see a van with no license plates driving away. They called the cops. It took two days, and it was revealed that Bruce was murdered. They found his body in the river. It took a few years for the grieving period before the young couple tried again. It took a few months before Karla became pregnant.

Selina was nothing like her late brother. She was a fussy baby. She constantly screamed and had to be held. There was nothing that could satisfy her for long. When she was around the age of six, Selina had been diagnosed with medical issues that said that she was too hyperactive and too distracted. Her parents made her take pills to try to solve the issue. While they did make her warp out, it did not stop this lack of focus. Her teacher suggested that they put her in a sport. Selina fell in love with soccer on the first day. She loved the friends she made. She loved following the ball. She loved kicking the ball. All the running wore her out. It was an amazing! It was the first time Selina actually felt tired and worn out! When her school work would drop, her parents would threaten to pull her out to make her focus on school.

When Selina started middle school, she made the girls’ soccer team. When winter rolled around, she tried out of the basketball team. She made that. With these sports and teams, Selina started her first route of popularity. People started to know her name and started to associate it was positive things and not just “ADD Girl” or “Spazzy Selina”. She took advantage of this and began to talk to people. It started to get around that she was actually a pretty cool, fun person. She liked it a lot. She had girls over for sleepovers. She went to parties. She hung out at people’s houses after practice. She had friends help her with homework. It was awesome!

In the beginning of eighth grade, Selina was asked out by Jeremy Suthermore. She was so excited! They started going steady after a few weeks of dating. It lasted the whole year. She was in bliss. Selina and Jeremy were always together. She told him everything. She let him in on her deepest secrets. It was amazing. Around April, Selina caught Jeremy cheating on her with Helen Cortis. She was absolutely destroyed. It got worse when they broke up, and Jeremy went around telling everyone that Selina was the one cheating and told everyone that she was sleeping around. It got around. Selina felt like her world was crumbling.

She begged her parents to move from their small town. She told them that they all needed a change. Dalton and Karla had been looking to move over the summer, but since their daughter had actually been happy since she started a new school, they didn’t have the heart to do it. Now, she was begging them. They told her that they each had job opportunities in Colorado. Selina had never been happier to have her parents in her life. At the end of the school year, they moved out.

Selina joined a summer soccer league when they got to Denver. She played all she could. It was in July that her parents had told her that she would be attending a boarding school close enough to home. They were wary on letting their daughter go too far, but they knew she would be happier away from home. When school sports were starting up, she started summer training at Pallet High School. She started to make some friends there. Her freshman year went well enough. It felt like seventh grade all over again. However, Selina wised up. She stopped putting her own heart out there. She stopped being so trusting to strangers. She loved her new school, and her new life.

Selina Kyle is the true identity of Catwoman from the Batman series. Since Skitty is based off a cat, the name is fitting for a personified version. Angora is a breed of cat with a fluffy tail which can identify with the bulbous pink end on Skitty’s tail. Gato is Spanish word for cat.

Skitty is known for chasing its own tail and impulses to follow moving objects. This trait is shown in Selina’s athleticism. Games like Soccer and Basketball lead to following balls around a field.

It is hard to earn the trust of the trust of a Skitty. Selina is openly there for other people whenever they need her, but she’s not very keen on them being there for her. She doesn’t like to open up because she thinks people will make fun of her.

Skitty, like the other cat-like pokemon, learns Assist which borrows a move from another pokemon on the team. Selina has an ability to get along with other people. She gets hints from their personality, and she can adjust herself to getting along with them.

Selina’s hair is a magenta color which is close to the pink color of Skitty’s fur. She is also quite tiny in size like Skitty.

Selina is from a small town outside of Helena, Montana. This is in reference to Skitty’s first appearance being found in the forest outside of Rustboro City.

The sun has sweltered down her. There was no practice, but she had felt restless all day. So, Selina had grabbed her ball and went to kick it around by herself for a while. While she was there, a few kids came up and asked to play with her. She gladly accepted the challenge. After that, she and the kids decided to play tag. Selina always had loved kids and being with them. They had the same amount of energy as she did, and it didn’t make her feel like a weirdo. When the sun had started to fade, the kids had to go home. Selina walked them home. She didn’t feel safe letting them go by themselves. Perhaps it was the stories of what had happened to her brother, but no matter what the reason, she wasn’t about to let them go this close near dark.

Upon getting back to her dorm building, Selina ran straight to her room to grab herself for a shower. Once getting that, she scurried as fast as she could to get to it. She could feel the dirt and grime sticking to her sweaty body. It was disgusting. She felt gross and nasty. “Hey, Selina…where—” She didn’t stick around long enough to wait to see who it was talking to her. She was running as fast as she could to hit the showers. She felt totally embarrassed because she felt like she smelt bad and looked like a hot mess. Once in the bathroom, she threw off her clothes in a half-way pile and threw herself into a scalding shower.

After it was all over, Selina stepped out of the shower with a pink, fluffy towel wrapped around her thin frame. Her wet hair flopped everywhere in slight curls. She walked over the mirror and looked at herself. She noticed that her make-up was smeared across her face. She let out an “eep” of shock and ran over to her shower stuff to get her wash rag. She quickly solved the problem. There was no way she could ever step out of the shower with raccoon eyes! That was so not cute! She threw on her pajama bottoms and little tank top for beddy-bye time. She knew she still had homework to do, but she wanted to be comfy after a hard day at play. Selina gathered up her shower stuff and left the bathroom.

On her way back to her dorm room, she stopped and had tiny conversations with people. She gave a hug here and there to people. She even jumped on one of the jock guy’s back. Selina was in a much better mood now that she didn’t smell so bad!
