FIERY ! -; Like the trait suggests, Kyu is a fairly short-tempered young adult, and it seems to actually fit her pretty well. She doesn't normally like being interrogated for no reason, nor does she enjoy when some people start to get on her nerves. Most of the time, she gives a huff and walks away, though some times, she may actually bite their ears off (figuratively) with questions. Her attitude also doesn't seem to waver off being like fire, and it does fit her nickname well.

LOYAL ! -; No matter how much she may seem intent on keeping you out of her sights, if Kyu tends to get a bit close to you, she'll try and protect you with her life. She doesn't really care that much if she doesn't know you, however. More than less of the time, she can be a complete b-i-t-c-h, yet she doesn't care about that either. To her, you aren't worth saving if you can't be nice to anyone, for at least a moment.

INTELLIGENT ! -; Like she appears, she's fairly bright as far as academics go. She's a complete history buff, though her attention wavers to Asian history more than the other continents, and just the languages.. it's just amazing to her~ She wouldn't give up her major or minor for anything, as she strives to get the highest grades possible. Out of classes, she occasionally allows a word or two in Japanese out.

VAIN ! -; Despite the more tempered-self of Kyu, she is actually quite about herself, even though that trait is more likely to be buried deep than out in the open. If her hair's not brushed, or if there's some sort of acne on her face, she'll probably freak out, trying to make sure everything's absolutely perfect.

This trait isn't shown very often, though it may come out every so often. So, be careful.

SARCASTIC ! -; When she speaks, about fifty percent of the time, there is this teasing or sharp tone to her voice, and for the other fifty percent, there is this sarcasm laced around her words. She honestly doesn't care if something 'tragic' happened in your life, for chances are, someone else might have had something worse happen. As an addition, a darker sense of humor seems to be her forte, sometimes making her unapproachable.

Kyu, in a whole, appears to be quite fragile and dainty, most likely from her genetics. With somewhat lengthy auburn hair, which falls down to just below her shoulders, wavy towards the ends of her locks. As far as her height goes, that much she had inherited from her father's genes, allowing her to just only top five feet high, making her quite a short junior. With her eye coloring, she appears like her father, with a light almond shade, though as far as hair goes, she's just like her mother. The structure of her bones seems to be quite fragile, allowing her to have at least three bones broken in the time of her life as of current. However, she happens to be quite graceful and petite, adding to her hundred and twenty-seven pound frame. Her skin, as fair and light as the next person's, lets her appear like she never heads out into the sun (which she doesn't).

As far as voice is concerned, it's not exactly the kindest, nor is it the cruelest. It seems to have a bitter aftertaste to it, allowing something to seem worse than it is. A darker tint also seems to follow in suit with her words, a very light lace of humor to add to it. Although, more than less of the time, her medium-pitched voice has sarcasm etched into it.

hometown - Southampton, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Love. That one word had begun the cycle of Kyu's life, before she was even discussed over.

Before her mother had time to be pregnant, her father, a fairly wealthy Japanese stock-merchant that traveled the world, had fallen in love with the Irish female, soon being wed in London, England. It took about a year or two, however, before the two actually settled down, discussing about whether or not they should have a child, considering the male's job.

Although, they decided it, and within nine month's time, the little red-headed baby girl was born. The father had proposed her name of Kyu, after one of his business travels to Japan, and adored the name in itself. Soon enough, Kyu Kitsunetsuki had embraced the world.

It wasn't very long at all, until another idea had been placed in her mother's and father's heads: have another child. At first, Kyu was utterly against this: it was supposed to be her that had her mother and father's attention. Not whoever this new child would be. To be perfectly honest, she was jealous, even though she denied it.

Whatever, she said.

When Kyu turned three years of age, her baby sister was born about a week later. Yep, another girl. This time, the girl's name was different from her, as far as origins went, and she was named Vivian. It took a few years, but soon enough, the young 'Flame' had become apart of her life.

(this was also the part in their lives where they sometimes referred to one another as 'Blaze' and 'Flame', both for their red hair and personalities)

One thing that did change their lives, especially Kyu's, was when her mother and father had to move to the States, and specifically, Pallet, Colorado. Neither girl wanted to leave England, though they had to. It was definitely a terrible timing for the both of them: Kyu was about to start high school, and Vivian had to go to seventh grade in some random middle school around there.

Let's just say, it wasn't the best.

And Kyu says, it's still not spectacular, even with her little sister joining high school with her.

+ the japanese name for ninetales, kyukon, is also the reference to her first name, Kyu. her last name, Kitsunetsuki, technically means in Japanese, the state of being possessed by a fox. I thought it might be fitting, heh.

+ since ninetales, a nine-tailed kitsune, is of Japanese legend, i thought that both the foreign language of Japanese, as well as Asian History, would both fit Kyu. besides, she loves her history.

+ since the gender ratio for both vulpix and ninetales is about 75% female to 25% male, i chose them both as female. my apologies if someone wanted a male vulpix.

+ considering that ninetales are supposed to be extremely loyal, yet quite the trickster, i had made kyu a bit of a sarcastic little -- erm, female dog -- as well as make her one of the most loyal girls that most people never meet. she won't give you up, nope nope.

+ i've always seen a ninetales, anywhere, to be absolutely thin, fragile, etc, and i absolutely adore the concept. graceful, easily broken... doesn't it sound great? <3

+ the hair coloration had gotten me thinking, and i thought, what the hey? might as well give kyu red hair, and her background Irish, just to make sense. though, since her papa had brought her to everywhere, including Japan, I thought that her father might have a Japanese name.

Immediately, the younger of the Kitsunetsuki's snapped her head around, her darker brown eyes staring up at the one that called her: Kyu.

"Vivian, what are you even doing? Reading for pleasure, video games, what is it?" The older of the two questioned further, the red-haired female's arms crossed over her chest, an almost scowl on her lips. "I-I was j-just catching up on h-homework, Kyu.." the smaller one whimpered, averting her eyes from her older sibling.

Damn, she did hate being the bad cop, but she did have to look after her younger sibling, ever since her dad and mom went on a trip for their anniversary. Since then, Kyu was in charge of little Vivian, only twelve years of age currently, with the older sibling at age fourteen.

Oohh... she was just doing homework, right?

"..Fine, it's all good. Keep up the work Vivi, got it?" her eyes studied the younger female with fake intimidation, though apparently she got the message. With a small nod of her head, little Flame turned away, leaving her with a sense of accomplishment.

If only other people listened to her as well as her sister did. Huh. Now that was a thought.
