 Happy Halloween, Palletites ![/i][/font][/size][/center] For our first Halloween, Pallet High School will be having a themed Halloween dance! That means costumes, spooky decorations, punch colored to look like "blood," pumpkin and bat shaped hors d'oeuvres (snacks, excuse my French), and awkward dancing in the school gymnasium! Plus all the fun of roleplaying it out, yay!
We're going to hold the dance earlier than October 31, however, so we can start threads and keep threading! This means that the dance will start on October 24! [/u] You can definitely start phone calls, texts, or threads where your character asks someone else to the dance, plans what they're going to wear, and all kinds of fun, so don't wait until October 24 to start the Halloween roleplays! For in-character purposes, the announcement would have gone out via the school's e-mail system and over the PA announcements during classes this week. So your characters can know about the dance already! But what about the play? Well, we're going to continue that, though the lights will be dimmed, so action will be starting now. You can move your characters into place for the lights dimming - the actual play is about to start! We'll try to wrap that up, though, so we can move onto Halloween. We've moved onto Halloween. What's going on? [/size][/center] Well, since Halloween did not go quite as expected, we're leaving it open for you all to play out!
Since it's nearly November now, we the staff of PHS have decided that we will give you the next plot point of Halloween. The punch has been spiked (read all about it here!), and you all are welcome to play out your threads. This is no longer going to be a focus of our plots, though, as we are moving past Halloween in terms of where we are in the school year. You are welcome to continue threads and make new ones to play out any Halloween plots you like in the Gym, just know that any of those events have occurred in the past and are not current.
Winter events will be arriving soon, so stay tuned for that! We look forward to catching people as they return from hectic schedules with school and work and settle into the holidays.
