So here's the thing. I'm making a Pallet High School Handbook that gives a school motto, premise, and other miscellaneous information so people can know more about the school that their characters are attending. Using my own school's handbook for reference, I realize that we need a mascot. Some of those options are amusing but viable options, but if you want to nominate another, go for it!
Just post your idea for a mascot below and vote "Other" in the poll. I'll leave this open until we come to a satisfactory decision on our mascot.

Wolves are pretty great, though common as mascots (which could be good or bad depending on what you guys want).
Prairie dogs could be fun. Or PORCUPINES! \o/ (The fluffy African kind with mohawks. x3) I assume the Pallet Pokemon is out of the question. *shot*
XP Also. I'd like to note for anyone who doesn't know that TECHNICALLY SPEAKING, the actual correct plural form of "platypus" is "platypodes". Platypus and platypuses are accepted scientifically and platypi is common enough it's recognized by dictionaries, but if you actually follow the etymology of the word and work on that it should be platypodes. X3
