I set my suitcase down on the pavement. "Where am I suppose to be? The person behind the desk at the front office said that someone would come and show me around seeing as I am starting school extreamly late. I don't know why I put off coming here! Guess it is the way I am." I shrugged to my self then sat on my case and pulled out a book from my carry on bag and started to read while waiting for someone to come and get me.
Summery: Amy shows up and is very confused. Note: the book if anyone is wondering is "The White Dragon" by Ann McCaffery.

Melissa was happily bouncing around the ocean of pure white snow around her. This was great! She loved winter, and all of the joy that it brought. There was snow to play in, holidays were around, people came home for the holidays... well, usually. Melissa and Micah (who had become very scarce lately) were staying at Pallet for the holidays - their parents were going off to a tropical Christmas, so Pallet High was going to be their home for Christmas. Mew was looking forward to it - she could spend Christmas with friends! Maybe she could convince Sam to celebrate with her and they could have eggnog - yum!
As she skipped through the courtyard - classes had ended awhile ago, so few people were here - she noticed a girl sitting on a suitcase. Deciding that she wanted to say hi, and introduce herself since the girl looked new, she sloughed through the snow drifts on the side of the paths and arrived at the girl's side.
"Hi!" She greeted cheerfully, and relatively loudly. The girl was reading a book, so she had to get her attention. "Are you new? I haven't seen you before, and I've seen a lot of people on campus. And most people don't carry a suitcase with them around school... so you must be new! I'm Melissa by the way, but you can call me Mew!"
She said everything quickly, bouncing around in the snow. With her pink and white attire, blonde hair, and perky attitude, she was certainly hard to miss.
Summary:
[/i] Mew inner-monologues for awhile, then runs up to Amy and says hi and is generally hyper. She asks if she is new, and concludes that she must be, and introduces herself. Comments:[/i] Hyper Mew is hyper. :] [/blockquote]

I blinked in surprise when I was interrupted by this bubbly girl who introduced herself as Mellisa aka Mew. "Yeah, I am." I said in response to being asked if I was new here. "My name is Victoria, but you can call me Vicky, or Amy if you prefer. I closed my book and stood, "Do you think you can show me around?" I asked as I put my book in my bag. "The front office wasn't much help." I gave a nonchalant shrug and grabbed my case. "Especially to the dorms so I can put this away?" I gave a small smile. Summery: Vicky is still confused, and hopes she has a new friend. Note:For those who are wondering her full name is Victoria Amythyst Drago. Thus the flip-flop between Amy and Vicky. Also sorry for the short posts.

"I knew it!" Mew exclaimed happily, looking rather pleased with herself as the new girl, who introduced herself as Vicky (or Amy, but Mew liked Vicky), confirmed that she was new. It made Mew feel good to get something right. She may have had a really high IQ, and she usually got things right, but it still felt good to get things right. She wasn't cocky, like some might think of her. She was just peppy.
"Well, hi Vicky! I'm Mew! Oh wait, I already introduced myself..." She pondered this for a moment, and then grinned broadly anyway. "Oh well, now you definitely know my name!"
Mew giggled for a little while, the pink pom-poms on her hat bouncing as cheerfully as Mew felt. A new friend, and snow! Today was going to be a good day!
"Sure, I can show you around! I know this school pretty well by now! I've been exploring, you see," She nodded knowledgeably, clearly confident in her ability to guide Vicky around the school.
"So, which dorm are we going for? They're organized by grade," She explained with an index finger raised as she emphasized her point.
Summary:
[/i] Melissa is proud of guessing correctly that Vicky is new, introduces herself again (whoops), and agrees to show her around. Comments:[/i] Never worry about post length, Vicky! PHS has no word count for a reason! (Although, if you hit enter twice between each different thought/line of dialogue, it would give an allusion that your post is longer. And you're technically supposed to do that. ^^') [/blockquote]

"Cool!" I said in response to her saying she has explored the school, breathing a sigh of relief at the fact that Mew knows her way around. "I'm in 9th grade." I told her when she asked about the dorm.
"Oh, by the way. I think you pink pom-poms are kinda cute." I said with a smile.
Summery:Vicky is happy that she has a new friend that knows her way around. Note:she likes cute things despite her gloomy appearance.

"Ninth grade?" Melissa exclaimed joyously as Vicky told her which dorm to go to. "I'm in ninth grade! YAY! It's another freshman!" Mew bounced up and down happily, landing on the snow-free stone path. She knew the way to her own dorm! And it was so exciting that there would be someone she would know in her dorm! Of course, she already had people like that, since she knew several of the freshman already (and some of the upperclassmen too), but it was exciting to have a new friend. Maybe, since she was new, they would be in the same dorm room! She would have a room mate!
When Vicky complimented her pom-poms, she grinned happily, instinctively putting a hand on her pom-poms, as though checking they were still attached to her head. "Thanks! Aren't they great? And they're pink! I love pink. Do you like pink? What's your favorite color?" Mew was talking fast again, and bouncing just ahead of Vicky on the path as they started walking.
Summary:
[/i] Melissa is excited about meeting another freshman, and bounces around before starting off down the stone trail toward the freshman dorms. She likes Vicky's compliment about her pom-poms, and then asks her her favorite color and is generally hyper. xP Comments:[/i] Mew's expression: [/blockquote]

"Pink is a cool color, though my favorite colors are black and blue." I say with a huge grin as the blond girl in front of her bounces happily in front of me. "I'm glad that the grounds-keeper keeps the walkway clear." I think as I follow Mew toward the dorms.
"What is your favorite color, Mew?" I throw the question back to her.
Summer: Happy Vicky! She likes to have conversations with peoples.
Note:Yes I will pluralize things that are already in their plural form.

"Ooh, blue and black are both good colors. Very versatile." Melissa nodded knowingly. She slowed down her bouncing just a little bit, as she was starting to pant from the exercise. Her breath went up in little clouds of steam, which she watched disappear into the chilled air happily. The little things in life were just so amazing. How could anyone not notice them?
"My favorite color?" Mew repeated the question, and then put a finger to her chin thoughtfully as she attempted to walk backwards on the path. "Well, I like pink. Pink and blue are my two favorite colors. I don't think I could choose between them, although I do have a lot more pink things. It's sort of 'my' color, you know -- eep!"
In her attempt to walk backwards, Mew had miscalculated how far her feet would need to go back. Her foot slipped and she felt back onto her butt. She shook her head to clear it and tried to stand, her feet slipping around on the slippery part of the path.
"Silly me," Mew laughed a bit shakily. She was fine, just startled from her fall. She hoped she wouldn't get too bruised from this fall.
Summary:
[/i] Mew is slowing down a little bit, since she's getting a bit tired. She talks about her favorite color while walking backwards, and slips on a slick part of the stone path. She's trying to stand up, but it's still a bit slippery. Comments:[/i] [/blockquote]

"I guess the grounds-keeper person didn't sand the paths." I mused as I saw Mew slip and fall. I offered her a hand up. "That must have hurt." I said with a small wince. I remember many a time when I slipped and fell on my rear, on concrete, wood, asphalt. "Well we both like the color blue, and we are both freshmen. That is at least two things we've got in common." I commented, hoping to take Mew's mind off of her sore rear end. Summery: Vicky know how it feels to fall on your rump. Note:

Melissa smiled and gratefully accepted Vicky's hand of help, pulling herself back to her feet with a smile and a friendly shake of her head.
"Oh, I'm fine! Just caught me by surprise was all," She adjusted her hat and giggled sheepishly. "I guess I shouldn't have been trying to walk backwards. Here, I'll walk next to you, how's that?" She started walking along by Vicky, skipping a step a few times so that way their feet would be in step.
Mew was instantly distracted from the bruise that was no doubt forming on her rear by Vicky's friendly conversation. "Ooh, you're right! I'm sure we'll be just the best of friends! We should be friends! Oh boy! I love friends. Do you like friends? I hope so, or us being friends might make you uncomfortable."
Melissa giggled at the idea - who ever heard of people being uncomfortable making friends? Humans were social creatures by nature, and having friends generally made them feel good. As they walked along the path, Melissa made a turn, and then pointed to a circle of buildings a few yards ahead and to the right of the walking pair.
"The green building is the freshman dorm!" Mew explained. "We'll find out which room you're in and who your room mate is once we get inside - they have it on a list." She smiled eagerly at Vicky. "Then you can put your stuff down, and we can go on 'Mew's Fancy-Dancy Tour of Pallet High'!" Melissa said the title of her tour with a silly grandiose voice and laughed merrily. This was so much fun!
Summary:
[/i] Melissa is fine, and easily distracted from her bruise. She rambles about friends, and then they turn and the dorm buildings come into view. (They can arrive next post.) Comments:[/i] ;D [/blockquote]

I laughed at the title Mew had given her title as I pondered her question about friendship making me uncomfortable. "Sure we can be friends! I don't see why making friends would make me uncomfortable, though I can see why some peoples don't. They probably don't want any thing bad to happen to those that they consider to be their friends. GAHH!" I exclaim smacking my self in the forehead. "Stop rambling about semi-pointless stuff!" I scolded myself as lightly knocked my head with the flat of my hand. "Sorry 'bout that." I tell Mew, "I tend to go rambling on about pointless stuff so yeah, if you don't mind putting up with that small flaw of mine we most defiantly can be friends!" I dash up the steps on to the porch of the green building. "It's this one, right?" I ask as I brushed some of the snow that had gathered on my sweater as we were walking. Summery: A light snowfall happens, like a small drizzle but snow instead of rain. Note: You don't mind if I have it do what is mentioned above right?

Mew giggled. "It's okay, rambling is fun! And it wasn't totally pointless! It's applicable to our current discussion, so that kind of rambling is very acceptable." She smiled as she climbed up the stairs to the dorm building behind Vicky. "And I agree with your points, anyway. And I like to ramble, too! I'm sure we'll be great friends."
Melissa bounded happily up the steps and nodded. "This is the place! Let's go inside!" She took one last backward glance at the light snowfall that had come up as they arrived, and then opened the door and stepped inside.
"The list will be over here!" She indicated a white dry erase board that had everyone's name on it. She started walking over to it, somewhat hopeful that she would have a room mate. She always checked the list everyday just to see. She wanted to have a friend.
Summary:
[/i] Addresses rambling, walks inside toward the list. Too lazy to write longer summary. xPComments:[/i] Totally cool. [/blockquote]

I walked over to the dry-erase board that Mew, my new friend, had pointed to. I found my name in the box-thingy that said Dorm Room: 2A. Apperently I was in the same room as Evelyn Calais. I also saw that Mew was in Dorm Room 1B. "It seems I have a room-mate." I said casually, "Her name is Evelyn Calais. I hope she is nice. Do you know her or have any classes with her?" I headed to the stairs and paused at the foot. "Want to help me unpack? That way I can be done sooner and we can have more time for 'Mew's Fancy-Dancy Tour of Pallet High' and to have fun in the snow." I said with a grin then sat on the second to last step and waited for Mew's response. Summery: Amy's got a room-mate, and she is worried what Evelyn might be like. And she hopes that Mew doesn't mind the fact that she is not bunked with her. Note: It is almost time for Mew's Fancy-Dancy Tour of Pallet High!

Mew was a little sad when she realized that Vicky was in a different room, and had a room mate. But at least they were close! And they didn't have to be room mates to be friends. She took a breath and smiled at Vicky.
"Too bad we're not room mates, but Evelyn is really nice! She's very silly, but very nice! And a freshman like us! But then again, everyone in this dorm is a freshman girl - that's why they're the freshman girl dorms!" She giggled at her silliness, and bounced up and down a little bit, the pom-poms on her hat bouncing as she did so.
"Sure, I'd love to help! This way I'll know where to go when I want to visit you or Evelyn!" Mew bounded up the stairs and was at the top before anyone could call her name. She started looking at the numbers. 2A, 2B, 2C... Oh wait!
"Did you say 2A?" Mew called to Vicky, who she assumed would be coming up the stairs after her soon. "If that's true, I found it!" She grinned. She wasn't sure if it was open, but it might be. Otherwise, she could get her key from the supervisor at the desk on the first floor. She'd have to get it anyway.
"Do you have a key?" Melissa turned toward the stairs and walked forward a step. She supposed she ought to ask.
Summary:
[/i] She's a little sad, but talks about Evelyn being nice, then runs up the stairs. She goes too far at first, then goes back to 2A. She calls to Vicky and tells her she found the room, and then asks if she has a key. Comments:[/i] She could have gotten it earlier, as the school would know where she was roomed, or she could go and get it from an NPC and then head up to the room. Your choice. [/blockquote]

I smiled at the fact that Evelyn was nice. I grabbed my suitcase and instrument case in one hand and fished in my pocket when Mew asked me about the key. I drew out a small ring of keys, all varying shapes and sizes. Some had a colorful thing on the top and others were painted. I grabbed the normal looking one that did not have any thing on it. "Here it is." I held it up, then walked up the steps to my new room and opened the door. The room was a typical dorm room. Two beds, two desks, two side tables, a big table in the middle and a closet in one corner that was clearly divided in to two parts. I slid my instrument under the bed and put my case on it, and my bag beside. I sighed as I sat down in the chair at the desk on my side of the room. It was good to sit after that 4 hour flight. I got back up and opened my bag and put the books on to the small shelf in the side table. Summery: Amy is glad that she is in one place and starts to put things away. Notes:
