Aiden has a fiery attitude to say the least. He has an extremely short temper, and it doesn't take much to light his fuse and get him going. When he gets going, it takes a lot to calm him down. A lot of the time, he gets going because he's frustrated with himself. He holds very little patience for himself, and if he can't do something within the second or third time he tries, he gets frustrated and throws it to the ground. He is an extremely jealous person, and gets more jealous of the intangible things that people have (such as love or selflessness) than he does of objects. He is only jealous because in the deepest recesses of his heart, he is terrified that he is not perfect. He needs to be perfect, he needs to be better than everyone else. Especially his older brother. He is terrified that he will get to the end of the road of his life and be denied a perfect afterlife because of the things he has done.

On the other hand, Aiden is undyingly loyal to his friends, and will always put others before himself if they have done something for him. Which is most of his friends. He is also a very proud being, and will pick fights over pride. He prefers things to be done the right way the first time, and is prone to throwing things around when they don't go as planned. On the surface to most people, Aiden is just the typical guy; eating, burping and picking fights. But on the inside, he has a large heart, and is willing to protect everything close to him; even if it means he has to fight to the death.

Ever since his childhood, he has felt that he needs to prove something to everyone else. This goes along with the feeling and fear of not being perfect, and of being jealous of other people's attributes that he thinks he doesn't have. He is quick to jump to a fight if something is said about him, because he wants to prove to others that he is more than just what they see. He'll fight to the death (metaphorically of course) about anything; comments about his jealousy, comments about being someone else's 'dog', mean comments spoken to his friends that can't defend themselves, and even comments about his height or hair.

• Aiden stands at 5'4", and doesn't like it one bit. He knows that he's shorter than almost any other guy at the Pallet High, and he's willing to fight about it if you're willing to bring it up. He has muscles, however, and can probably knock you silly with one punch if he can reach your face.
  
  
• his hair is black-brown with undertones of a plum red from dying. It's cut normally, framing his face and having some whispy strands that fall in front of his eyes. He wears large rimmed glasses, as he is not much use without them. He's practically blind.
  
  
• Aiden isn't pale, per say, as an even but light tan is spread all over his body. He was born that way. When he's out in the sun, he tans nicely, and is not prone to burning.
  
  
• his eyes are an astounding shade of blue-green. They seem to sparkle brilliantly in the light, and they're the first thing that someone else might notice about him if they looked him face to face.
  
  
• Aiden's clothing is that of a typical high school boy; shirts (whether they be t-shirts or button-downs), jeans, and flat-soled tennisshoes. If he wears button-downs, he likes to wear vests over them. Extra: Hardly anyone knows this about him, but he has a neon colored barbell through the middle of his tongue; it was a dare when he was in middle school and he was too proud to refuse.

hometown - Chicago, Illinois.

In Aiden's family, he was born as the middle child, all of them one year apart. The thing about having children one year apart, however, is that they fight. All the time. And they did. Constantly. It seemed to Aiden that he was always the one that got in trouble for their little brawls, and was always the one that was overlooked when he did something he was proud of, as usual with the middle child. Aiden was extremely smart, and was in all of the upper classes, but he was never recognized as much as his older or younger brothers. His younger brother was always celebrated when he got an award at school or got an A on a test. His older brother was constantly scolded for the things that he was doing and the bad grades he was receiving. Aiden figured at about ten, that he would never get recognized for good things over his younger brother. So he tried a different way.

His older brother was always doing bad things; always hanging out with his friends, they had tried cigarettes, he never did his homework, and he had vandalized Aiden didn't know how many people's property. And his parents constantly told him that he could do better. That they cared about what he was going to be in life. But Aiden didn't get any of that. And that made him bitter. So he stopped doing his work. He started hanging out anywhere but at his house. He didn't get good grades on tests, even though he knew all of the answers. Suddenly, his grades went from all A's to all F's. The teachers at school were concerned, as the parents hadn't noticed. They called up a conference, and Aiden's parents took him to the doctor to see if something was wrong. They thought he might have ADHD.

Those times when his parents were concerned for his wellbeing and grades were the best times of Aiden's childhood. However, once they found out that he really didn't have ADHD and didn't need any medical help, they stopped caring again. And again, Aiden was alone. This made him even more bitter, and when he was fourteen and had gotten his grades back up, he set one side of the house on fire. If they weren't going to give him the same attention as they gave his brothers, then he was going to take away everything they had. It was a rash decision after a day of banging around the house and talking himself into thinking that no one loved him, but he had done it anyway. By the time someone saw it, it had spread to two rooms. When the firetrucks had gotten it out, it had destroyed one room completely. Aiden denied ever doing it.

He ended up being sent to Pallet High because of his good grades and apparent need for getting out of his home. He loved to mix things together and see them blow up or burn, so his major was chemistry. And he hoped to make some friends that would care for him more than his family did.

• Name; Aiden Drake = Fire lizard. I couldn't see having any name that could be more perfect. And Charleson phonetically sounds like Charmeleon.
  
  
• On his appearance, the blue-green eyes of the Charmeleon are there, and the red undertones in his hair to match the color of the pokemon. He's muscular because Charmeleon is quite strong.
  
  
• On his personality, I got some of the things from Rachel's suggestions, like the jealousy part. He's very fiery and short tempered because he's a fire type, and he's jealous because he's like the middle child between a Charizard and a Charmander. His loyalty is left over from Charmander stages, because Charmanders are known to be extremely loyal. The rest of his personality goes along with my view of how a Charmeleon would be.
  
  
• History, he was the middle child between a Charmander and Charizard, striving to get the attention given to his brothers from his parents. Part of his personality was developed from his history, like his pride and jealousy. He likes to blow things up because he's a fire type. Therefore, chemistry. c:
