You read correctly, Palletites! All people and characters who have signed up for White Elephant have been paired off - check all of your character accounts that you signed up with for the PM containing that info.

If you still want to get in on White Elephant, it's no problem! Just PM a staff member and we'll get you set up. If you need to get out of it due to RL stuff, same deal - just PM a staff member, and we'll get people re-matched. No one will be left out, promise!

For today, just say hi to your partner! Send them a virtual card, make/find a fun image, anything you like!

Now, you might have noticed that you have OOC pairings as well as IC pairings. The school of Pallet has decided to encourage camaraderie during the school holidays among its student body! OOC pairings will have different activities than IC, but there will be fun stuff to do for everyone! This also allows for our characters to get in on the fun, and makes sure that every character has something to do.

You are welcome to send your IC partners cards/images as well, but please do so "secretly." You will know OOC which partner your character has, and they know who they have, but unless your character is told, they will not know who their White Elephant partner is! Just keep that in mind as you send out notices and so on and so forth. I would recommend having your characters sign the note as "Your White Elephant" and/or "Your Secret Santa." Both are acceptable. :]

Other announcements related to White Elephant will be in this thread, so keep an eye on this thread for updates and events! Events will start tomorrow (in the Central Time Zone - minus six hours from the GMT), so be ready for some fun! ;D

As promised, events for White Elephant are kicking off today! Huzzah! ;D

FOR OOC PARTNERS:

Announcing our first Out of Character contest, "[Re]-Write a Carol!" For this contest, each pair should work together to write a holiday carol (or a parody or carol to the tune of another carol) involving PHS and its characters and/or members! The only rules for this is to keep it PG-13 rated, and to make sure it is your own work!

Otherwise, have fun! You have until January 14 to submit your entries! The best way to do this is to either PM it to a staff member and we'll hold onto it in a Google Doc or you can e-mail your entry to [e-mail] and we'll store it there!

Nothing yet! Just send your White Elephant a friendly greeting card of sorts! (For an example, please view Bartholomew Sauer's card to Flora Summers here!)
