Theodora D. Ursing Cerulean dorms, freshman section, dorm 1D. That was what was written in Theodora Ursing’s messy handwriting. In all fairness, normally Teddy’s handwriting was loopy, elegant, and neat. The freshman’s older brother had given her the directions to her room in the car and she had to whip out her purple sharpie as fast as possible and scribbled on the December edition of Teen Vogue. Page 19 to be more exact. There were two stories in each of the four white country houses in a circle that resided on the eastern side of the campus. A small courtyard with a pleasant looking fountain and benches sat in the middle of the circle of dorms. Teddy walked around the circle looking for her section. Eventually she lifted her bag onto the porch of the freshman section. As it said on a pale green sign next to the white house.
Theodora gazed around the small white house with distaste. Besides the house, there stood a small white porch with a couple of swings and rocking chairs. Not that it was the swigs and chairs that made her sneer, it was the fact that they were falling apart. Some lay on there sides and other completely broken. Very few seemed safe to sit in without them falling to pieces. Theodora took a deep breath, momentarily missing her home. But thoughts of her mother and father quickly brought her back to the reason why she was here. Theodora didn’t bother knocking, since she never really had been a big fan of letting others know her presence. It was best to surprise them. Plus, knocking only ruined a manicure sooner. Teddy strolled in casually, pulling her Coach luggage with her. She set her luggage down, pushed her hair out of her face, and smoothed her clothes from wrinkles and creases. But no one was around.
Frowning, Teddy pulled her luggage towards the stairs. She had to struggle to get it up the stairs, but once she did she felt accomplished and proud of herself. The golden-brunette poked her head around the corner and saw no one in the hall so she took that as a chance to get to her room and primp before making a first impression. Teddy walked as fast as she could, scanning the doors looking for 1D. As she was about two doors away a another girl burst through her dorm door. The girl looked young, too young to be in high school. Teddy blinked rapidly in surprise and took a step back, knocking her luggage and dropping her matching Coach purse. It’s contents spilled onto the ground making Teddy groan in frustration and annoyance. She could tell this girl was going to be one of the those overly cheerful people. Easy ones to trick. Teddy smiled sweetly and crouched grudgingly onto the floor hoping someone had recently vacuumed.

This was going to be a good day, Melissa could just feel it. She woke up on the great side of bed (though really she only had one side, since her bed was on the right side of the room and was pushed all the way up to the wall), and was eager to face the day. The sun was out and reflecting on the snow, hiding some of its gray tinge that it had gotten from the many feet of students walking and playing in it. It was just a beautiful day, and so Mew was sure it was going to be a good day.
She was also excited to buy her White Elephant a gift. She wasn't sure what she was going to get Midge, her White Elephant partner, but she was so excited about buying her a present. She was off to town to go buy something. She'd have to figure out what Midge would like as she was wandering around Pallet's shops. She bounced excitedly and started running for her door. She burst open her door to see a girl standing outside with fancy looking luggage bags at her feet. She knocked them over as she stepped back in surprise, and bent down to start gathering her thins.
“Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry! I have a problem with rushing...” Melissa bent down, pushing back her long pigtails over her shoulders, so she could help the girl gather her things. She hadn’t seen her before, but she looked pretty, and wore nice looking clothes. As per her usual opinion of people, Mew decided she wanted to try and make a new friend. New friends were always good, right?
“Are you new to Pallet? I haven’t seen you before, so I think you are! Welcome, then! I’m Melissa, but you can call me Mew! What’s your name?” Melissa picked up two bags and placed them nicely on her rolling stack of bags.
“Where’s your dorm? I can help you get set up and then take you around, if you like!” She grinned widely. She hoped that this girl would be nice. She wanted to make friends, and it was harder if she was mean. Not impossible, but harder.
Summary: Mew is on her way out, and runs out the door, surprising Teddy behind the door. She bends down and picks up two bags, helping her with her bags. She apologizes and then starts talking to her. She introduces herself and offers to take her around in a tour. Comments: Mew is too nice. xP

Teddy watched the girl’s mouth move but only got about half of what she was saying. It took her a while to register that the girl was talking to her and trying to be polite. Teddy blinked to try to wake herself up, only because she hadn’t used her new Ice Blue Shampoo from Lush, yet. She held a well manicured hand up to try and keep the words in her mouth. She forced a grimace, which she hoped pass for a smile. Teddy let her eyes travel up and down the girl. Pigtails, small, this girl was obviously trying to act younger than she was (and doing a very convincing job) or she was younger than she was supposed to be. Teddy closed her eyes and thought about the question for a while. “Yes. Call me Teddy. Theodora sounds old at school. Dorm 1D. And that would be alright, I suppose,” Teddy said eyes still closed.
She reached into her back pocket and pulled out some It Started With A Kiss lip balm that tasted and smelled like toffee and apple. She pulled off the cap and dipped her finger into the red goo and wiped it on her puckered lips. She held out the small silver container in front of the girl. “You want?” she offered and when she had the chance to take some, she screwed the cap back on and put it back into her pocket. She put her things back into her purse and lifted the luggage back into a sitting position. Theodora smiled sweetly tipping her head to the side letting her silky hair fall gently. “Would you mind taking some of these?” she asked blinking her big brown innocent eyes. Without an answer she left 2 of suitcases and grabbed the other one’s handle and began down the hall letting Mew worry about them.
She stopped in front of 1D. She unlocked the door and walked into the plain room and look of unhappiness crossed her face. “This will need some serious work,” she muttered under her breath and strolled in. “By the way, love the Mew nickname,” she said setting her suitcases in the corner and circling Mew like a lion stalking prey in Africa. “After your little tour, you should let me give you a makeover. I could totally do that!” a grin appeared on her face. “You do have this air of innocence surrounding you that I could work with," she stated as she quit circling her and stopped in front of her. "Well, hi Teddy! I like Theodora - it sounds sophisticated - but Teddy is great too! We both have nicknames, how fun!" Melissa quickly gathered two of the bags that Teddy had indicated. When offered the lip balm, she stared at it for a few moments before taking it and applying just a little bit on her lips. She immediately licked her lips. It didn't taste as good as it smelled, but it still made her think "yum!"
1D, 1D, 1D... Mew repeated inwardly to make sure she didn't forget. The bags that Teddy had asked her nicely to carry were kind of heavy, and she was glad to see that the room was only at the end of the hall - not too far to walk.
"Oof! These are kind of heavy," Mew commented as she stopped just outside the appropriate dorm room. Teddy unlocked the door and they entered. Teddy didn't seem to be too happy with her room. It looked the same as Mew's, except without the posters of puppies, kittens, and inspirational quotes that she had in her own dorm. But it wasn't bad. Maybe Teddy just wasn't used to living in a dorm.
"Wait, a makeover?" Melissa spun on her heels, following Teddy's movements around her. Was she evaluating her? That was odd. Did friends evaluate people? "Work with what? I've never used any make-up. My dad didn't like it, and I never needed it."
Melissa was somewhat confused, but still happy. At least her friend was interested in her. And she wanted a tour!
"I'd be happy to give you a tour! Where do you want to go first?" She bounced up and down for a brief moment as she started thinking of where she should take Teddy first.
Summary: Stuff. -will probably edit in later- *lazy* Comments: Question: Will Teddy actually like her at some point? I'm fine with a yes or a no, I'm just curious. xD

Teddy took a tiny step back to allow Mew some more room to breathe. She tipped her head to the right, letting her golden-brown hair fall off her shoulder and flashed the young girl one of her famous, open-toothed smiles. “Thanks so much, hun’,” Teddy said snapping her head back upright and closing her glossed mouth with a sticky slap. “Just put them in that corner, kay’?” she said and stepped away and pointed to the corner farthest away. She listened half-heartedly as Mew spoke that her father never said she didn’t need it. Teddy agreed that neither Mew, nor herself, needed make-up, but she was fascinated by it, even as a child. She respected, somewhat, that others didn’t prefer make-up. Though, it did not mean that she couldn’t try to make them even more beautiful. “Darling, I know you don’t need make-up. Your pretty without it, but let me try to bring out your beautiful features even more ,” she said stepping closer and petting the girl’s hair like a mother would with a child.
Teddy turned sharply and picked her purse off the unused bed and dug around until she found it. Chanel Paris eyeliner. “This would look fantastic on you!” she smiled brightly with a true smile instead of her fake one that made most people melt in her hands like silly putty. She set it down roughly on the bed. She dug around more and turned again, back around Mew. “This is Euphoria eau de parfum spray. Three point four fluid ounces. Eighty dollars, available at Macy’s. Along with the rest of the Euphoria collection. You know, the sensual skin lotion, six point seven fluid ounces, thirty eight dollars. Along with the sensual bath and shower cream, six point seven fluid ounces, thirty dollars. I have them somewhere in these bags. Or they may be in the rest of my luggage flying in over night. . .” she trailed off with a frown. Teddy cleared the look from her face, after all, frowns caused wrinkles. She set the parfum on the counter gently and dug around and pulled out her Chanel No. 19 and sprayed some of the delicious smelling perfume around the room in an attempt to mask the stale smelling air. Teddy closed her eyes, tipped her head back and breathed in. “Much better,” she exhaled. “I need to get a candle, air freshener, and some bath bombs from Lush. . .” she trailed off again. Teddy tipped her head to the left this time in thought. “Anyways,” she jumped out of her thought process when she remembered Mew was still there. “How ‘bout that tour hun’?” she smiled her charming grin once again.
Summary: Teddy knows WAY to much about useless make-up and perfume. But, I have to admit, it is kind of fun looking up all this girly junk. Comments: Of course she will like her. She is already giving her a make-over! Just kidding :], but yea, she will like Mew. Probably change her mind during the tour. Oh, and sorry it took so long, the snow storm we had here knocked screwed our computer up and we had to get a new one. ):
