There were things Lola knew she should be getting to. It was almost Christmas time she should probably be getting ready to go home. But the truth was, she was hoping to avoid it. She knew it was wrong, but that didn't stop her from hoping she'd get away with it. Her brother had no plans of going home. Of course it was his first year of college, and so had made plans with new friends. But maybe Lola could do the same, or more like convince her parents that that was the case. Other than worrying about going home. Lola was in a good mood. She walked into the cafeteria humming to herself, she wasn't exactly hungry, but she knew she should eat something seeing as she had the time. She couldn't always be sure about what things would come up. Then again, with Lola things rarely ever turned up, she guessed that was what happened when a person rarely ever cared about things.
Lola wasn't sure what she was in the mood for, however. She guessed a sandwich and a bottle of water would do. After finding a place to sit, she took out her newest journal from her bag. She knew it was a little ridiculous the amount of notebooks she had. However, though going green with everything else seems appealing, buying a laptop or even an ipad didn't seem right to her. No she would continue using notebooks. It seemed like a good idea to her anyway. She had things she wanted to write about, she allowed her mind to wander a big, spacing out. Though she was distracted with her thoughts, she began to eat slowly. "Ah! I've got it!" she said to herself, snapping out of it. She wasn't sure what it was she was going to write, but she could just doodle whatever came to mind. Smiling lightly, Lucy looked down at the bear she drew. She had given him a pirate hat and sword. "Captain Berry," she said giggling to herself, as she wrote that over the bear's head. "Well Captain, I'm going to make you a crew!" She flipped to the other page as she began to draw the bear's first mate, a cow.
