Loyalty. While this may be one of Tai's strongest traits, her loyalty lies first and formost to her older brother. It doesn't matter how long you have been friends with her, if you've done something against her brother then she's against you. Blood is thicker than water, and that's what she believes with all her heart. However, should you get into some trouble with someone else that she does not feel loyal to, she'll be on your side.

Whoa wait, what was that? Oh, haha, that was Tai just running around the campus again. She's incredibly energetic. She has to be doing something that involves moving of some sort. Whether it's slow or fast it doesn't matter to her. That's why she's so into dancing and karate. Those aren't the only athletic things that she enjoys doing though. She also enjoys running, basketball, baseball, and pretty much any sport that is on land. Anything having to do with being in the air is out of the question because she's terrified of heights. However, sometimes she's too hyped up. For instance, after she and a friend have gone for a long jog, she'll then suggest that they run off and do something else that requires a lot of energy because she has such high stamina. This usually ends up with the friend giving her an 'are you serious?' look.

While being playful is a fun trait to have, sometimes Tai can get a bit out of hand. She likes making people laugh and such, but sometimes she doesn't know when to stop. For instance, she'll be rough housing with her brother and then she'll take things too far and he would get mad at her. It's something she needs to learn to control.

Focus is also a very strong trait Tai posseses. That's why she was able to be successful in both dance and karate. Both are still things she enjoys to do.

Brown, wavy hair falls a little past Tai's shoulders, but whenever she's out doing something active she has it tied up in a pony tail so it's out of her way. Her eyebrows are a bit on the bushy side, but it doesn't take away much from her hazel eyes, which have a ring of green surrounding a ring of brown.

Tai stands at about 5"6 which is a good height for her weight, 125 lb. Her weight is a bit surprising since of all the muscle she has. Her legs are probably the strongest part of her body though since both dance and karate require strong legs.

Normally Tai wears some sort of flats, unless exercising because then she wears sneakers, because it's easier for her to be on her toes as she always is. When she isn't running around she's got on a simple shirt and jeans/shorts. When she is rushing about she's wearing some sort of athletic attire.[/blockquote]

Since the age of four, Tai has been in some sort of dancing class. When she first started it was the typical ballet. From there it moved onto tap and jazz, until she finally went back to ballet. When she started to learn point, she started doing everything on the balls of her feet. She was trying to train herself for point. While she wasn't a big fan of those shoes, it became easier and soon enough she naturally was walking around on her toes all the time.

Although dancing was fun, what Tai really wanted to do was karate, like her older brother. She used to watch him practice at home and she wanted to train with him more than anything. At the age of nine, she started to ask her parents if she could do karate as well. After a month of begging, they finally agreed, but they warned her that her schedule would be tighter now that she would be doing two sports. She didn't care.

The first day in her kids class, Tai was disappointed at her peer's lack of focus. This class was also the first time she put her heels on the ground since she had started point, but only because she had to enable to make connection. None of the kids really cared, but she pushed on because she could practice with her brother. That was when she had the real fun. After two years of being in the kids class, her Sensei finally let her move up to the adults class at the age of 11 because she tried harder than all of the kids in her class combined and she was the highest belt in the class, at the time it was a green belt.

By the time Tai became a brown belt, tragedy struck. She was 14 years old and in the middle of classes at school when she was called down to the office. When she walked down, she found her older brother standing there, tears in his eyes. Their mother had died returning from her business trip in a car accident. From that incident, their relationship with their father began to fall apart. He blamed them for their mother's death. He became so enraged at them that he would physically attack them. Of course they could protect themselves against him, but they couldn't live with him like that forever, but it wasn't until Tai was about to go into her sophmore year (by which time she had acheived her black belt) in high school that they applied for a school in Pallet, Colorado. They needed to get away from him. Luckily, their father let them go because he was 'disgusted' by them. As long as they were out of his sight, he didn't care what happened to them.

• Riolu is a fighting type, thus I thought it would be suitable for Tai to be in a karate class
  
• In point the dance is on their toes while they are dancing. I thought that since Riolu is always standing on its toes this would be a suitable explanation as to why Tai would be in the odd habit of standing on her toes all the time.
  
• I chose dance to be her major because it just seemed the most fitting out of the classes listed since there wasn't another sort of physical major (that didn't involve always sitting in a classroom).
  
• Riolu is described as an energetic, playful, and loyal pokemon. I thought it would only be natural for Tai to possess the same traits.
  
• On Blubapedia it said that most fighting type pokemon had high stamina, I just chose to let Tai take that same trait.
  
• One of Riolu's moves (as listed on Bulbapedia) was 'Inner Focus' or something of the sort. I thought I'd connect that with being focused and have Tai be . . . well focused.
  
• Riolu has a black, raccoon like mask around it's eyes. Since markings are out of the questiong I thought having bushy eyebrows would somewhat compare to that mask.
  
• Tai's middle name, Lurio, is Riolu with 'lu' in front of it.
  
• I decided to make Tai a girl because when I was reading over what Bulbapedia had on its Riolu page, it just seemed like a girl, or at least the character in my head did. Yes, I did see that the percentage of your Riolu being a girl was pretty low.
  
• Her older brother is supposed to be Lucario (who seems more manly than Riolu, so that's why he's . . . a he)

Punch. . . .punchpunch. Punch. . . .punchpunch. Tight armpits. Make your punches rub against your sides. Tai nodded as she threw three more punches to the punching bag. For a second she stopped her punches and let herself break from her stance to change the song on her ipod. Pulling it out of her pocket she decided that she would work on strengthening her knife hands. She shoved the music player back in her pocket and tightened her hands into knife hands. She kept her thumbs pulled back and made her arms tight as well. For this she wouldn't have to get into stance since she would just be making her hands stronger.

Once the song started playing, Tai began jabbing the bag with the tips of her fingers. It didn't hurt as badly as it first had. The first time she had tried to strengthen her hands she remembered them cramping up, but right now was not the time to think about the past. She had to strengthen her knife hands. Only a few minutes into her jabbing the bag, she jumped when someone tapped her on the shoulder. She was a bit aggrivated, since they wanted her bag to practice on. Then again she had been on it for about two hours. She could always go back to her dorm and work on rotating her hips. With a sigh, Tai stepped out of the way and let the kid have her bag.

As Tai began walking to her dorm room, she wiped sweat off her forhead. Whenever she was dripping with sweat she was thankful she had grown out her bangs when she was little. Dripping bangs were disgusting. When she made it to her room, she decided instead of working on her karate, she should start working on the dance assignment that their class had been assiged. Afterall, it was due next Monday and she hadn't even started on it.

Plopping down on her bed, Tai grabbed a pen and a notebook to start writing down the points for her paper. She didn't have a laptop, so she would have to type everything up later. Of course she would have to do research too, but she knew most of the stuff anyways. All the things she would have to look up would be minor. One she had been working on her paper for a little over an hour, she let herself shower. She just needed to get something done with that paper otherwise it wouldn't have ever been done.
